이번 소개곡은

딥퍼플의 <April>입니다

이곡은 1969년 발표된 딥퍼플의 

3집앨범<Deep purple>에

실려있는 곡입니다.

이곡은 장장12분의 대곡으로

클래식을 듣는 듯한 느낌을 주는 곡입니다.

개인적으로 이곡을 처음 들었을 때가

고등학교 시절이었는데

이곡을 들으면서 

대중음악 팝음악은 수준 낮은 것이란

편견을 깨는 계기가 된 곡입니다.

이곡을 처음 들었을때 

그 신선한 충격은 아직도 잊을 수가 없습니다.

대중음악도 이렇게 멋있는 곡을 만들수 있구나

하는 생각을 했었습니다,

1969년에 발표된 곡이지만

아직도 이 곡의 아름다움은 녹슬지

않았습니다.

봄이 오면 한 두번은 늘 찾아서

듣는 노래입니다.

다가오는 4월을 맞이하면서

이 곡을 준비했습니다
